It’s that time of year again; hibernation is over, the doors open up, and we’re finally back outside enjoying a little sunshine and fresh air! There’s an energy shift that comes with it. It’s the perfect time for a reset at home; not a full overhaul, just intentional changes that make everyday living feel lighter. Clearing out clothes you no longer wear, opening up the spaces you use most, and making room for longer days and more time together.

Spring Break Camp at Virginia Beach Field House

Kids can expect action-packed days filled with obstacle courses, games in the Fun Zone, group activities, and structured playtime with other children. Each day keeps them moving, engaged, and excited from drop-off to pick-up.

Virginia Aquarium Dolphin Watching Boat Tour
SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS IN APRIL | VIRGINIA BEACH
Step onto the Atlantic Explorer and cruise coastal waters while watching for bottlenose dolphins surfacing nearby. Aquarium educators guide you through sightings of seabirds and marine life, creating a mix of scenic ride and hands-on learning.

Equestrian WISH Barrel Fun Show

Walk into a casual space filled with live acoustic music where local musicians play together and welcome others to join in. Expect a laid-back evening of music, light dancing, and community connection.

Revolutionary Rhythms Festival
APRIL 17–19 | WILLIAMSBURG
Spend the day exploring interactive history exhibits, vendor booths, and family activities before enjoying live concerts in the evening. The weekend ends with a coordinated drone show lighting up the sky in a memorable finale.

Outer Banks Festival of Model Aviation
APRIL 18 | DARE COUNTY
Visit an open airfield where you can try flying a radio-controlled airplane with help from experienced instructors. Between flights, enjoy grilled food, watch demonstrations, and take part in raffles in a fun, community-driven setting.
