The Real Estate Group was excitedly able to return to Harbor Park last week for our School Supply Drive and Teacher Appreciation Night. I want to take a moment to send a warm ‘thank you’ to all my clients, family, and friends that came out and joined us. The evening was a HOME RUN! I loved seeing everyone as we gathered together to enjoy Norfolk Tides baseball and camaraderie, and to make a difference for our local schools and children.
This year, The Real Estate Group collected over 80 boxes of school supplies that have been delivered to Green Run Elementary and Rena B. Wright Elementary Schools. Also in addition to this event, TREG held its #TeachersInTheBleachers Facebook contest to recognize outstanding local educators. Local teacher Adrienne Jimerson was randomly selected as this year’s “Teacher In The Bleachers”. Adrienne is a 2nd grade teacher at Kempsville Elementary school in Virginia Beach, and because she was selected, the school received a $500 donation from The Real Estate Group.
A good teacher can inspire hope,
ignite the imagination,
and instill a love of learning.
